Matt Walla is an architecture and design photographer who works worldwide.  To date he has four published books with three on vernacular architecture: “Santa Barbara: At Home in Paradise”, “Casa del Herrero: The Romance of Spanish Colonial” and “Spanish Colonial Style”, all by Rizzoli New York. “The Steedman Silver”, was published by Tailwater Press.  

Matt’s fifth book, and first fine-art photography monograph, is set to be published by GOST Books in London in 2026.

He lives in California with his wife Katharine, their son Doug, and cat, Kira.
